Now we have a chance to get rid of an abusive principal, Tweed is finally listening and there has been more than 6 investigations so far. So now it is time to speak about grade changing, harassment, pressuring teachers to pass students, Aps being harassed to change ratings on teachers, no compliance with special education legislation, etc. The time to unite to fight the negativity and corruption that she has brought upon us has come, so please no more personal attacks on each other. We have all been abused by one person in one way or another, and it is time to turn the tables. So many of you have cried or were unfairly treated, or were pushed out. You do not even have to lie to speak up, but you do not have to be afraid to speak up about corruption.
Per example teachers last year writing observations on other teachers, without having a SBO for the comp time positions, We still do not know why the chapter leader did not have a vote on it, and we were never told about the job descriptions of these coordinators.

Dwarka allows students to do 5 classes of APEX ! She will do anything to fudge the graduation rate. I did NOTHING but play on the computer ,who caress in June Im out of this “nut house”
Namita Dwarka continues to do it her way while Department of Education looks the other way.
She is pushing falling students into the APEX program so that they can graduate .
Faced with the challenge of keeping students on track to graduate on time, Namita Dwarka placed them in credit recovery program.
As a result, she had saw a 13 percentage point increase in graduation rates.
Students are happy to graduate .

Math teacher just got a stroke, the nonsense and the unnecessary stress caused from an abusive principal is going to get to all of you. one of her targets from 2 years ago another math teacher also suffered from chest pains and was hospitalized. The number of people calling in sick has increased also, this is not a healthy environment for none of you. So what are you all going to do? nothing? What is the UFT doing? Nothing

Fact 1: our principal never once attempted to work with us to fix the DOE’s issues with the school.
Fact 2: our principal never once attempted to hear us out on any issue; instead she went after anyone who asked questions
in a vindictive manner.
Fact 3: despite the fact that instruction is always blamed for the failings in our
public schools our principal never once attempted to
improve it. Instead she denied pre observation visits
and made up a great deal of what she brought up in
our post observation conferences.
Fact 4: she only
visited a handful of teachers, going after those she
deemed too young or too old, and left those alone
she didn’t have a personal problem with.
Fact 5: she
hired back only 30%, when the Agreement called for 50% and other schools hired back over 80%.
Fact 6: she made everyone jump through hoops all year, at the students’ expense, only to get rid of key Bryant people who made the school what it was.
Fact 7: She never once offered any helpful hint, idea, tactic, professional development, word, or letter to help us achieve what she and the DOE expected of us, because she, herself, had no such knowledge.
Fact 8: she blamed us for wasting instructional time with anything that wasn’t group work and spent twenty minutes stroking her ego on the loudspeaker every 3rd period and pulling failing students out for breakfast instead of, I don’t know, leaving them in the classes they were in danger of failing.
Fact 9: she bullied us into passing kids who didn’t deserve it, holding unrealistically responsible for their grades and attendance, when even their parents or guardians gave up. Do I need to go on? This woman is a corrupt cog in a deficient system and we all need to speak out until these diseases like her, and our mayor, are held accountable for their crimes, and real, honest educational reform can begin.
Fact 10: she changed our observation ratings to negative ratings without even observing our classes(unheard of).Fact 11:she gave us nonsense u-ratings at the end of the year on our rating sheet, and after people went nuts she realized that wasn’t going to fly and went back and changed them.Fact 12:she threatened APs that if they didn’t give certain teachers U ratings(teachers she wanted to screw) then they would get harassed the rest of the year.Fact 13:dwarker you need help

The Special Victims Unit (SVU) is a division within the New York City Police Department.
The Detectives in this division investigate crimes involving sexual assault, the very young, or the very elderly, as well as any crime loosely connected with any of the three. The unit also deals with murder, abduction, robbery and child pornography cases. The unit is housed in several different boroughs.

John Bowne High School at 63-25 Main St. in Queens. The principal of the school has been fined for going on trips with his aide on his or her dime.
A troublemaking Queens principal was slapped with a $4,500 fine for taking jaunts overseas with his school aide on the assistant’s dime, the city’s Conflicts of Interest Board said Thursday.
The aide to Howard Kwait, 36, principal of John Bowne High School in Flushing, spent more than $11,000 for the getaways.
Someone should look at Dwarkas spending on her school credit card.
